Information clause

Information regarding the processing of personal data of users of the Geostatistical Portal launched as part of the project “Spatial Statistical Data in the State Information System” (PDS).

In connection with the implementation of the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC ( general data protection regulation) (OJ EU L 119 of 4th May 2016, p. 1, as amended) (GDPR), the administrator informs you about the principles and your rights related to the processing of your personal data.

I. Administrator

The Administrator of your personal data is the President of Statistics Poland with its registered office at Aleja Niepodległości 208, 00-925 Warszawa.

II. Data Protection Officer

You may contact the data protection officer (DPO) appointed by the Administrator by:

  2. e-mail to the e-mail address: IODGUS@stat.gov.pl.

Matters addressed to the DPO should only relate to the processing of your personal data by the administrator, including the execution of your rights under the GDPR.

III. Aims and legal basis for the processing of personal data

Your personal data in the scope of: name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number, user ID (login), computer IP number, will be processed in connection with your registration on the Portal in order to gain access to additional functionalities of the Portal Geostatistics launched as part of the project “Spatial Statistical Data in the State Information System” (PDS).

Your personal data will be processed pursuant to Art. 6 section 1(c) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Regulation on data protection) (GDPR) in connection with Art. 25 section 1 point 7 of the Act of 29th June 1995 on public statistics (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 773). Requesting the withholding and deletion of personal data is possible after logging in to the account in the User Profile in the Forget my data tab.

IV. Recipients of personal data

The recipient of personal data will be entities cooperating with the Administrator, including suppliers of technical and organisational services enabling the operation of the Portal.

V. Period of personal data processing

  1. Your personal data will be processed until you send a request to delete personal data referred to in point III.
  2. After the period referred to in section 1, for archival purposes in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 14th July 1983 on national archival resources and archives (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 553) and in the regulation on the classification and qualification of documentation and the transfer of archival materials[1].

VI. Rights of the data subject

You have the right to:

  1. withdrawal of consent – however, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal;
  2. access to personal data, including the right to obtain a copy of this data;
  3. rectification (correction) of personal data;
  4. deletion of personal data;
  5. limitation of the processing of personal data;
  6. lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (to the address of the Office for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2, 00 – 193 Warszawa), if in your opinion the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.

VII. Automated decision-making, including profiling

Your personal data will not be profiled or subject to automated decision-making.
