In the Resource Catalog of the Geostatistics Portal in the visualisation entitled 2021 Census data. Residents in 1 km grid new layers have been added:
- Male residents;
- Female residents;
- Residents aged 0-14;
- Residents aged 15-64;
- Residents aged 65 and more.
In some grid cells, the data has been hidden due to the need to protect statistical confidentiality.
The visibility of layers can be changed on the “Thematic layers” tab.
The variables are presented in a kilometre grid and based on results of the Population and Housing Census 2021. The category of the resident population is compiled for the purposes of international statistics.
For residents comprise:
a) permanent residents, without the people staying away from home (residence) in the country or abroad, for at least 12 months, regardless of their place of residence in the country or abroad;
b) people who came from another place of residence in the country or from abroad for a period of at least 12 months.

Data can be downloaded from the Geostatistics Portal. For this purpose:
- log in to Resource manager as an external user,
- after logging in to the Resource manager, on the filtering bar for the Resource availability filter, click “x” to remove the narrowed choice only to your resources (“Mine”),
- then in the Search field, put the name “2021 census data. Residents in 1km grid (sex and age)” or the resource number – in this case it will be 19307,
- in the graphic of the found resource, click the Export button and select the data format (available data formats are geojson, shp, csv, kml).
