What data concerning the user is collected?
During your visit, our systems automatically record so-called logs – that is, the system event logs containing anonymous information such as the time of your visit, the IP address of your device, the URLs of the browsed pages and the downloaded files on our portal and information about your web browser. In addition, the systems gather anonymous data such as: the number of visits, the country from where you linked to our site, etc. The collected data are analysed using the solutions of the external provider. Currently, we use Google Analytics. This tool is based on cookies and does not provide information that would allow the identification of a person.
The aim of data storage
The data collected in the logs is used solely for the purposes of administering the Portal. All users data received via the Portal is intended for the purposes of the CSO and will not be passed to any third party.
The Geostatistics Portal https://portal.geo.stat.gov.pl/en/ uses cookies in order to reduce unnecessary network traffic by keeping information about the session. The information is only technical and is used to improve the operation of our Portal.
The system logs, recorded during your visit, are stored indefinitely as auxiliary material used to generate statistics assisting in the administration of the Portal. The information contained in the logs is not disclosed to anyone excluding the persons authorised to administer the
server and the network. The personal data provided to us is used only to contact you – sending answers to questions, providing you with our current news.
